Inowai: thanks to digital technology, the HR function gains in agility!
Anaïs Diebold talks about how the HR function, for which she is coordinator at INOWAI, is evolving and how better use of digital technology makes it possible to better understand the changes in the world of work.
Faced with a dynamic labour market, the HR function is becoming a strategic vector for the success of companies. Anaïs Diebold, human resources coordinator at INOWAI, a key player in the Luxembourg real estate sector, can testify to this. "The 'human' dimension of the HR function, beyond administrative management, has become very important in recent years," she explains. It is our responsibility to ensure that new employees are welcomed and integrated, to manage talent and internal mobility, to ensure well-being at work and, more broadly, to ensure a good work/life balance."
Business partner
The HR function has evolved from a traditional, purely administrative role (managing personnel administration, payroll, administrative assistance to employees, etc.) to that of a privileged interlocutor for both company managers and employees, in order to better grasp the challenges ahead. "Within the HR department at INOWAI, our vocation is to place ourselves at the service of the business. To do this, we make sure that we implement tools and levers so that everyone's autonomy can be fully expressed under the best conditions," explains Anaïs Diebold. In order to be ever more competitive, companies, and therefore HR, must innovate and transform themselves. In a context of constant change, in a tense labour market, we, as HR managers, must be agile.
Digitalisation: A Key Ally for HR
The digitalisation of HR functions has become a true asset in this context. "An HR information system like Microtis’ Gesper allows us to automate numerous processes and time-consuming tasks related to administrative management, recruitment, training tracking, and employee performance monitoring," explains Anaïs Diebold.
"With a centralised database, the system frees up valuable time that we can dedicate to higher-value projects."
In collaboration with Microtis, INOWAI now aims to fully digitalise its employees' administrative documents, making them more accessible via the MyGesper portal.
Supporting Innovation and Employee Well-being
Another key focus is improving workplace well-being. "We have already implemented several initiatives, such as flexible working hours, remote work opportunities, and stronger connections between employees, management, and support departments," says the HR coordinator.
"We have also invested in the work environment to make it more welcoming and team-oriented, along with fostering a strong team culture through team-building events and internal activities."
A major goal is to strengthen INOWAI’s employer brand, building on existing initiatives while continuously enhancing them.
